LSU womens basketball coach lesbian scandal

ESPN is reporting that Lousiana State Universitys Pokey Chatman, head coach of women's basketball is resigning for having an affair with one of her players. She resigns just before she would have coached her team in the coveted NCAA Tournament.

"It is not clear if Chatman's alleged transgressions were recent, ongoing or occurred in the past. The time frame of when the university was made aware of the allegations and how it coped with them are also unclear," the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

"Chatman is one of the best coaches in the business, amassing a 90-14 record at LSU and winning several coach of the year awards in 2005." http://ncaafootball.aolsportsblog.com/2007/03/08/
